The game offers a range of features and modes to keep players engaged. With five unique single player modes to master, players can challenge themselves and improve their skills before competing with friends and family in the addictive multiplayer mode. The multiplayer mode allows players to form long words, earn bonus tiles, and score points against each other.
Not only is Hooked on Words fun and challenging, but it is also easy to play and offers hours of entertainment. Whether players want to compete with friends or enjoy a relaxing solo experience, this game delivers.
Key features of Hooked on Words include its five unique single player modes, multiplayer with Facebook support, universal app compatibility, single-player iCloud saving for seamless gameplay across devices, and Game Center leaderboards and achievements for a competitive edge.
The multiplayer mode offers an exciting two-minute challenge, where players can earn bonus tiles to increase their scores. Additionally, the game introduces a new Token system that rewards players with tokens for winning against friends and provides various ways to earn more through the Word Shop.
Hooked on Words has also introduced an all-new Extended Mode, where players progress through levels based on a predetermined number of moves per level. Other single player modes include Standard Mode for strategizing and creating bigger words, Timed Mode for forming as many words as possible within two minutes, Collapse Mode for clearing the board of letters, and Blitz Mode featuring a static board where players must find as many words as possible within two minutes.
Expert Mode is available for experienced players seeking a challenge. With an infinite supply of letter tiles, players must score enough points to fill the bar and advance to the next level. The difficulty level increases with each level in this mode.
Please note that the multiplayer mode of Hooked on Words is not compatible with the first-generation iPad.
